Hochstein at High Falls, the annual, summer lunchtime concert series presented by WXXI, The Hochstein School, and High Falls Business Association in Granite Mills Park has been cancelled due to the continuing restrictions on large gatherings due to COVID-19. But we will host one virtual concert featuring John Dady, Hannak PK and the Wambo Africa.
Musicians from the 86-member Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra, directed by Casey Springstead, perform a special concert for Live from Hochstein. A full orchestra for advanced strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion students in grades 7–12, the HYSO presents three concerts per year along with periodic international tours.

Hochstein boasts ample nearby parking and handicapped accessibility. Thousands of audience members annually attend Live from Hochstein (or listen to the concerts on WXXI-FM), Spotlight on Faculty, and summertime Hochstein at High Falls concerts, as well as our students’ solo recitals, ensemble concerts, and dance and music therapy department recitals.
